It is a non – finite form of the verb that
only names action without naming
person and number.
The infinitive derived from the verbal
noun. That’s why it has the same
functions in a sentence.

We use Complex Object with the verbs expressing:
Suggestion, opinion: to think, to consider, to believe, to
suppose, to expect, etc. To be is used more often.
We believe these experiments to be very important.
Мы полагаем, что эти эксперименты очень важные.
We use Complex Object with the verbs expressing:
Demand, request: to permit, to request, to demand, to
command, etc. After such verbs the verb is used in
Passive Voice. After to ask we use preposition “for”.
He asked for the letter to be sent off at once.
Он попросил, чтобы письмо отправили сразу.
We use Complex Object with the verbs expressing:
the perception through the senses: to see, to hear, to
feel, to notice, to observe, to watch. The infinitive is used
without to.
We see the water boil in the boiler.

intend, should/ would like.
