УРОК АНГЛИЙСКОГО ЯЗЫКА В 10 КЛАССЕ
ТEМА УРОКА: “What do you think about fashion and shopping?”
ЦЕЛИ УРОКА: 1. ОБУЧАЮЩАЯ: Совершенствовать лексические навыки учащихся
2. РАЗВИВАЮЩАЯ: Развивать навыки аудирования, монологической и
диалогической речи по теме «Мода и магазины»;
развивать умения высказывать свою точку зрения
3. ВОСПИТАТЕЛЬНАЯ: Формировать умения работать в группе,
воспитывать уважительное отношение к мнению одноклассников
ЗАДАЧИ: 1. Обеспечить закрепление изученного лексического
материала в серии речевых упражнений.
2. Развивать умение выделять ключевую информацию в аудиотексте и в
печатном тексте.
3. Практиковать учащихся в умении кратко высказываться на заданную тему
и давать характеристику.
ОБОРУДОВАНИЕ: компьютер, мультимедийный проектор, презентация в программе

TEACHER: Hello, boys and girls. How are you
today? I hope, you are OK!
At the beginning of our lesson I suggest you to listen
to a song.

TEACHER: What is this song about?
STUDENTS: This song is about fashion,clothes and
shoppings.
TEACHER: Could you suppose the theme of our
lesson?
STUDENTS: I think the theme of our lesson will be
connected with clothes and shopping.
TEACHER: Right you are. Please, read the theme
and the aims of the lesson.
THE THEME of the lesson is: “What do you think
about fashion and shopping?”
THE AIMS:
to discuss different ways to dress
to talk about fashion and shopping
to learn new words and expressions
to practice auding and reading skills
TEACHER: Let’s remember some expressions which are
connected with fashion.
TASK 1. Match pairs of words.
TEACHER: What kinds of clothes, accessories and
hairstyle do you prefer?

READ THE DIALOGUE AND ANSWER THE QUESTIONS:
Emily: Today we should go shopping, guys. New York is famous for its shopping.
Misha: That’s great!
Rob: What a good idea!
Mark: Oh, Emily, let me stay at home. I can’t stand shopping.
Rob: But, Mark, you really need some new clothes.
Mark: My jeans, T-shirts and trainers are OK for travelling.
Emily: To tell the truth, they are a little out of fashion.
Mark: I don’t care about fashion. I prefer casual clothes. I feel more comfortable
in them.
Misha: As for me, I like to look round the shops and find something original that doesn’t
cost too much. Clothes show my individuality.
Emily: My hobby is buying clothes in the sales. Most of my clothes come from
discount stores that sell designer clothes, so they don’t cost much.
They are real bargains. (выгодная покупка)
Rob: You can call me a snob if you like, but I’m sure, clothes are a status thing.
“Clothes make a man” they say and I agree. People make up their minds about
you when they look at your clothes, so my clothes have to be the latest
fashion. Look at my new jacket. Isn’t it smart?
Emily: I think, it’s very elegant. You can wear it to a fancy restaurant.
Before we go, let’s look through the latest magazines.
It’s so easy to make a mistake with fashion.
Mark: I still think it’s ridiculous (смехотворный) to care about clothe so much.
I believe in old saying “Never judge a book by its cover”.
