The global construction industry is undergoing a phase of global transformation, during which the transition from traditional methods of design and construction to innovative ways of managing construction projects based on the use of digital technologies is taking place. The trend of digitalization of the construction industry, including the provision of quality control processes, predetermines the need to develop a scientific and methodological base for the theory of managing the introduction of advanced technologies. The transition to digital documentation using BIM in construction management leads to an improvement in the quality of construction. 5. This trend is able to ensure the formation and accumulation of a new quality of the country's research, production and technical potential in the foreseeable future. Thus, the need to ensure competent management of innovative projects is determined. The strategy for the development of the construction industry in Russia until 2030 defines the creation of a single digital ecosystem for the entire construction complex. This means the digital transformation of all processes: planning, design, construction, architectural supervision, construction control and examination of investment and construction projects. The construction sector is considered one of the key industries that determine the solution of the problems of economic and scientific and technological development of the country.
