Внеклассное мероприятие по английскому языку "Tea Party"
Цели:
• Учебно-познавательная цель –
1. Расширение кругозора учащихся через знакомство с историей происхождения чая
и особенностями употребления чая в Англии и России и чайным этикетом.
2. Развитие умения читать с целью извлечения детальной информации, развитие
умения понимать культурологический аспект текстов, развитие умения переводить
и пользоваться словарем, совершенствование лексических навыков говорения.
• Развивающая цель – развитие творческих способностей учащихся, развитие
способностей к распределению и переключению внимания, к непроизвольному
запоминанию при восприятии на слух, развитие способностей подбора выражений,
• Воспитательная цель – формирование потребности и способности к сотрудничеству и
взаимопомощи при работе в группе, воспитание уважительного отношения к образу
жизни других народов, более глубокого осознания своей культуры.
Задачи:
1. Создание условий для развития логического мышления учащихся, умения понимать,
анализировать, высказывать свои мысли, одобрять.
2. Способствовать укреплению знаний о традициях и обычаях стран изучаемого языка.
Оборудование: сервированные столы

Вступительное слово учителя: Good afternoon. I am glad to see everybody. Today we
all have an unusual party. It is connected with one of traditions: Drinking Tea. You are sitting at
the tables which are laid according to Russian and English traditions. I want you feel yourself
real Englishmen and Russian. One group will be the English and the other the Russian. And
learn more information about this tradition. First I want you to repeat some words and word
combinations and answer some questions about tea.

связано с одной из традиций: чаепитием. Мне хочется, чтобы вы почувствовали себя
настоящими англичанами и русскими.

- Ведущий 1- Good afternoon dear friends! Welcome to our tea party! It’s common
knowledge that the English are very fond of tea. We like to have a nice cup of tea from 6 to 8
times a day, sometimes even more. And what about Russian tea?

Всем известно, что англичане очень любят чай. Они любят пить чай от 6 до 8 раз в день, а
иногда даже больше. А как русские относятся к чаю?
Ведущий 2-The Russian as well as English are fond of tea too. Our ancestors used
nature”s treasure, they used to make herbal and flower tea. They picked up different flowers in
the fields and forests and this tea was called “medicinal tea” .It was a medicinal prophylactic
means from different deseases and a good way from being thirsty.
Русские как и англичане в восторге от чая. Наши предки использовали кладовую
природы, пили чай из травяных настоев. Они собирали лесные и полевые цветы, и этот
чай назывался лекарственным чаем и был лечебным, профилактическим средством при
различных заболеваниях, и прекрасным способом утоления жажды.
-Ведущий 1- I see. I think the Russian like pure ecological products.
Ведущий 2- Unfortunately, not all of them. Millions of people in factories and offices look
forward to their tea breaks in the morning and afternoon where they enjoy themselves drinking
well known English breakfast tea.
Ведущий 1- So do English. They are called «elevenses» and «5 o’clock tea».

Ведущий 1 - People keep customs and traditions. A lot of them have very long histories.
Some are funny and some are strange. But they are all interesting.
Люди соблюдают обычаи и традиции. Многие из них имеют длинную историю.
Некоторые – забавные, а некоторые - странные. Но все они очень интересные.
Ведущий 2 - Some British and Russian customs and traditions are famous all over the
world: Bowler hats, drinking tea and talking about the weather, politics for example.
Некоторые британские обычаи и традиции известны во всем мире: шляпыкотелки, беседа о погоде, политике к примеру, и чаепитие.
Ведущий 1 – Here are some ABC of Table manners for the English and Russian Tea
drinking. During drinking tea you must follow the next rules:

You must lay sugar in the tea carefully.
Во время чаепития кладите сахар в чай аккуратно.

You must eat the pie with the help of spoon but not hands.
Вы должны есть пирог при помощи ложки, но не руками.

You mustn’t tap the spoon for a cup stiring tea.
Вы не должны греметь ложкой при помешивании чая.

And one more: during drinking tea Englishmen speak only about pleasant
things
И еще: за чаем англичане обсуждают только приятные темы.
 Drink tea slowly to throw bad thoughts and deseases away.
 Whenever there are guests put a samowar and invite your guest to tea.
 Pass a cup of tea with both hands saying with smile Will you please a cup of tea?




During drinking tea the Russian speak only about kind pleasant things, and most of
the men enjoy themselves speaking about politics.
Пить чай нужно медленно, чтобы получить наслаждение и освободиться от
вредных мыслей, болезней и забот.
В какое бы время ни пришел гость, для него ставили самовар. Хозяева по обычаю
должны были выпить с ним чаю.
Передавать чашку за столом полагалось обязательно обеими руками, улыбаясь, с
добрым напутствием
 За чаепитием обязательно велись добрые душевные беседы.
 Ведущий 1-- I”ve learned that both the Russian and Englishmen try to keep
pleasant talks, often about politics. By the way would you say a few words about
future elections in your country while sitting at tea table.
- Well, it” s a kind of serious questions. Legislative elections will be held in the
Russian Federation on 4 December 2011.[1] At stake will be the 450 seats in the
State Duma, the lower house of the Federal Assembly of Russia (the legislature).
- For the first time the State Duma will be elected for five years. Аll seven
officially registered in Russia political parties will have the right to
take part in the elections. They are A Just Russia, Liberaldemocratic, Patriots of Russia, Communist, Yabloko, United
Russia, Right Cause
- Have you made your mind what party will you advise your parents to vote?
- I think United Russia will win the elections because our President is there.
- I don”quite agree with you. There are some other parties that have good
programmes. I think we should make aquatance with all of them. All in all

And now the second task: What can you tell us about the ABC of Table manners for the
English Tea Drinking?
А теперь 2-ое задание: Что вы можете сказать о правилах Английского чаепития?
Ведущий 2 - There are four kinds of tea which are popular all over the world. They are green
tea, red tea, yellow tea and black tea. They can be in large and small leaves and in granules. But
Englishman most of all prefer black and green tea. In cold weather they like to drink tea with
milk. Besides, milk helps to determine the quality of tea. (Продемонстрировать): How do
it? We take two cups of tea and add some milk. If the colour is red or orange it’s a good tea. But
if the colour is grey its bad tea.
В мире популярны четыре вида чая. Это зеленый, красный, желтый и черный чай.
Чай может быть крупнолистовым, измельченными или гранулированным. Из всех видов
чая англичане предпочитают черный или зеленый чай. В холодную погоду они любят
пить чай с молоком. Кроме всего, молоко помогает определить качество чая. Каким
образом? Возьмем две чашки чая и добавим туда немного молока. Если цвет станет
красным или оранжевым, это хороший чай. Но если цвет станет серым, этот чай плохой.
-Russian people drink different sorts of tea: Chinese tea, English tea, Ceylon tea and others. But
the majority prefers herbal tea. It”s worth drinking. It”s good for your health. That”s why I
advise you to drink only herbal and flower tea. Drink it with milk, drink it with honey, drink it
with lemon. Herbal tea every day keeps the doctor away.
Speaking about the History of Russian tea in acient times people made tea picking up field and
forest flowers, such as clover(клевер), St. John”s wort(зверобой), strawberry(земляника), wild
rose(шиповник) the ingredients were different. It all depended of the hosts, their health, age
and the time of the day.
For example girls could drink only girl”s tea made of dry apples with seeds. This made their face
white and pink. Most of all tea was made of different flowers. Russian tea – tea with lemon

different dishes. For example, jam, biscuits, sweets, fruits, cheese, cakes, and of course an apple
pie. It is the main dish of drinking tea.

блюда. Например, джем, печенье, сладости, фрукты, сыр, пирожное и, конечно же,

And your pie is ready. Bon appety! Now you can make such pie at home according to this recipe.

English, Chinese, Japan, Russian tea drinking are the most famous of them.
