This article is devoted to reformative tendencies in the Russian Byzantine Church which appeared in
the end of 20-th century. The author shows religious activity of leaders of reformative Byzantine communities
and negative influence of this activity upon further development of the country and society which can lead
to the split in the Russian Byzantine Church and to considerable social shocks both inside of the country
