THINGS PASSED FINDING OUT
1. Good Things man cannot completely understand about God
2. The word of God gives you a list of things that you cannot completely comprehend about God.
I. HIS JUDGMENTS AND WAYS ARE PAST FINDING OUT
(Rom. 11:33-36)
33 О глубина богатства и мудрости и знания Божьего! как неисследимы суды его, и
непостижимы пути его!
1. His judgments are too deep to reach the bottom. They are unfathomable.
2. If the Lord didn’t reveal them to you, you wouldn’t be able to find them.
Isa. 55:8, 9
8 Ибо мои мысли не ваши мысли, ни ваши пути пути мои, говорит Господь.
9 ¶ Ибо как небеса выше, чем земля, так пути мои выше, чем пути ваши, и мысли мои,
чем мысли ваши.
ILL. An ant trying to be aware and understand why you do what you do or why you think what
you think.
The ant would have no possible way for him to comprehend what you know or the standards by
which you live.
- The Lord is further beyond us than we are beyond that ant.
-The Lord is perfectly holy. How are you going to understand that completely?
-There is no way we can grasp the thought and actions of a completely righteous geing.
-He is omniscient.
-He knows everything.
-You can’t understand a being like that.
v. 34 Unless He reveals something to you in the holy scriptures.
II. HIS LOVE IS UNQUENCHABLE
Song 8:5, 7
6 ¶ Положи меня, как печать, на сердце твое, как печать, на руку твою: ибо любовь

чрезвычайно неистовый пламень

III. GOD’S PEACE PASSES ALL UNDERSTANDING
Phil. 4:7
-Paul was in jail. Other believers were glad that he was in jail.
-Paul was a scared man, small, weak, falsely accused, experienced shipwreck, was kicked out of
certain provinces, etc.
1. Man cannot understand the peace that comes through Christ, when he being burned to death.

IV. HIS RICHES ARE UNSEARCHABLE
Eph. 3:8
1. Riches
i. of His goodness
Rom. 2:4

2. They why worry about riches when you are a million times richer that Bill Gates, etc.
3. If He was in need do you think He’d tell you?

V. HIS GIFT IS UNSPEAKABLE
2 Cor. 9:11-15 The wonders of His economics –
1. It comes by the grace of God (v. 14). Therefore Paul received it as from God.
Jam. 1:17
Каждый добрый дар и каждый совершенный дар есть свыше, и нисходит от Отца
светов, у которого нет изменения, ни тени перемены.
2. It was that gift which broken down the old enmity and bound together Jew and Gentile in love, so
that Jewish Christians would pray, thank God for, and long for Gentile Christians like those that
Corinth.
1. If we have received from God "His unspeakable gift," what great thing is it, if we give a few
perishing gifts for His sake?
Praising and blessing God for putting it into their hearts, in so liberal a manner,
- to relieve the necessities of the saints,
- by which so much glory did redound to God,
- and so much honour to the Christian religion.
This he calls, not barely an admirable, but an unspeakable gift;
- because a gift by which God was so much glorified,
- the gospel adorned,
- the poor saints so much comforted,
- and they themselves so plentifully rewarded:
Thanks b.e to God for his unspeakable gift.
2. No language can ever fully express God’s gift to man.
VI. HIS JOY IS UNSPEAKABLE
1 Pet. 1:8
1. This is what sets apart true Biblical Christianity from any other kind of religion.
Cf. Not Roman Catholicism or Orthodoxy. They are Baalite religions.
i. It is not comprehendible to the pagan unsaved.
ii. It is a joy in believing on Him. You can better experience it than express it!
iii. The more you believe Him the more joy you’ll have. It’s unspeakable. You can’t explain it.

ILL. How many times I’ve laughed so hard I fell down.
2. When you believe His promises He comes through. What a joy!
Joy of SALVATON!
ILL. Man expresses his happiness in song.
ILL. 600 songs about Jesus Christ.
3. Christianity has to do with a real Person, Who saves sinners.
Cf. Mohammed, Buddha, Mary, etc.
ILL. What has your “leader” done for you personally.
ILL. Fruit of the Spirit “Love, JOY…”
VII. WORDS THAT ARE UNSPEAKABLE
2 Cor. 12:4
1. Paul had been through so many trails. Here he was beaten and left for dead (Acts 14:19, 20).
i. He was caught up to heaven.
ii. He saw and heard things that were just ‘unbelievable’ to show him what would be waiting for
him.
iii. The Lord still wanted to use Paul on this earth.
2. Paul needed encouragement.
3. One of the reasons why he WANTED to die a martyrs death is because He was “homesick.”

i. That’s why he went right back into that city.
4. God later gave those things to John to write because John would be left on an island.
God gave him something to do.
5. God withheld Paul to that so that he wouldn’t be held in higher esteem than necessary.
God gave that to John who would be left on an island no more to be seen by any of his disciples.
6. So God humbles Paul with a “thorn in the flesh” to keep him from being proud.
