PEOPLE SUFFERING FROM OSTEOPOROSIS AND FRACTURES IN PROCESS OF
TREATMENT ACCORDING TO ILIZAROV

At admittance to the hospital of 480 elderly and old people aged 60-75, with osteoporosis
and fractures there was a high level of anxiety, there were some signs of desadaptation, manifestations of frustration and depression, evident emotions like sadness, distress and mazement. Features of character and types of its accentuations were studied by Cattel and Shmishek tests during treatment according Ilizarov. A tendency towards smoothing hightened personal features
over was found in the period past treatment. In this times need for selfconfirmation was a cause
of high responsibility and friendliness. Release of emotional strain was noted as well as significant improvement of psychological status and quality of life. In general the dynamics of psychological status was positive after treatment.
